Renovated Bungalow – Waiwaka Terrace

Retaining its rich heritage in the beautiful stained-glass windows, wooden flooring and bay windows, inspirational renovations have brought this dwelling firmly into the 21st century.

This home provides divine views, with a panoramic vista across the skyline to Mount Taranaki, the city and ocean. For this reason we went with a coastal theme for this staging to incorporate the views indoors. The magnificent shell pendants in the formal living and master bedroom and the sandy colored linen curtains throughout the home also helped to set the scene. It was necessary for us to bring these exquisite outside features indoors with a mixture of coastal art as well as mountain photography. Stunning palms framing the pathway up the stairs to the front door provided a good opportunity for us to bring plenty of faux palms indoors to compliment the homes coastal vibe.

We also incorporated some art of the outside of the home into the homes office as well as above the fire place in the dining room to emphasize the homes historic heritage.

The execution of an open plan living space in the home has been well thought-out so it was important for us to utilize this space in the best way possible. We thoroughly plan our staging's to make sure we have the right furniture available to fulfill this.

While staging this beautiful home we chose traditional furnishings such as the beaded dining chairs and slouchy linen sofas and incorporated a modern twist in our styling to compliment the homes traditional features.

This home had plenty of brass fittings and fixtures from brass lighting, door handles and tapware, inviting us to accessorize with plenty of brass for a luxurious look throughout.

This home was a real gem to stage!
