Pantone Colour of The Year 2025
In the world of design, the annual release of Pantone’s colour for the new year is eagerly anticipated. Pantone is a system for matching colours. It provides a universal language of colour that enables colour-critical decisions through every stage of the design workflow for brands and manufacturers. For example, when we had our coloured Belhams Interiors logo designed, we were given the Pantone colour numbers of each colour they used so we can pass them to our stationery printers to replicate the colours on our business cards, stickers and branding.
Drum roll……..The Pantone colour for 2025 is ‘Mocha Mousse’ and I’m so happy!

It is described by Pantone as “a warming, brown hue imbued with richness. It nurtures us with its suggestion of the delectable qualities of chocolate and coffee, answering our desire for comfort.” This is such an easy colour to use in your home and wardrobe. You will find it easily in wallpaper patterns, paint colours, laminate for cabinetry and even in flooring. It is warm and creamy and goes with pretty much everything from brass to chrome or black metallic features.

Colour Drenching
‘Colour drenching’ is one of the top interior design trends for 2025……..but what does it mean? Also known as monochromatic design, it is the practice of using a single colour throughout a room or space. By applying the same colour on the walls, trims, and ceilings, you create a seamless and immersive experience that envelops the area in a rich and unified colour.

Many homeowners are already colour drenching their homes with white walls and ceilings. If you want to be bolder and try darker colours, choose an intimate space such as your home office, powder room or snug. Darker colours bring a ceiling and walls inward making the room feel cosier. Add a patterned rug, or one wall of coordinating wallpaper, to break up the block of colour. We have a range of new arrivals in store and online to help create your desired look.
