Our first stop is the client’s property. Here, we assess the space, taking note of its layout, natural lighting, and architectural features. Understanding the target market for the home is crucial; whether it’s a chic apartment or a spacious family home, our design must resonate with potential buyers.
We meticulously sketch out a plan, visualising how each room will be styled to maximise its appeal. It’s not just about placing furniture; it’s about creating a lifestyle narrative that potential buyers can envision themselves in. From this planning step, we set aside specific furniture pieces for the home, or if we don’t have the right piece, we order it in. We consider the colour palette in the house and make sure we have the right soft furnishings and art. Again, if we don’t think we do we will make new cushions and order in new art if need be. This ensures our results are bespoke to each property.
The Day Before: The Warehouse Adventure
With the plan in one hand and a coffee in the other, we head to our warehouse, a treasure trove of furnishings, decor pieces, and textiles. This is where our expertise truly shines. Each item is carefully curated to complement the property’s style and architecture while appealing to the demographic we’re targeting.
From contemporary sofas to rustic dining tables, every piece is chosen with intention. We pay attention to colors, textures, and scale, ensuring they enhance the space without overwhelming it. The Big Day: Bringing the Vision to Life
Loaded with carefully selected items, we pack our van and the truck and head back to the property. This is where the magic happens. As passionate Interior Stylists, we relish the transformation process. With precision and flair, we arrange furniture, hang artwork, and layer the accessories.
The living room becomes a cozy retreat with plush rugs and inviting seating arrangements. Bedrooms are transformed into serene sanctuaries with crisp linens and tasteful accents. Each space is designed not only to look beautiful but also to evoke an emotional response from potential buyers—a crucial element in securing a sale.
